Fizzy drinks can contain outrageous amounts of sugar. Even those that don’t contain sugar can still feature sweeteners, which aren’t helpful for people who are keen to lead a healthy lifestyle. A glass of pop might give you a degree of energy to exercise and stay active, but the amount of sugar within it can lead to you gaining weight and possibly even battling health problems such as diabetes.
You might consider a glass of wine or a bottle of beer as a reward to sticking on a diet all week long. Sadly, it’s more likely to just derail all your hard work.
