What I do

I support soul-centred people in improving the well-being of their mind, body and soul.  I offer one-to-one and group coaching programmes online, for people who are interested in personal development, holistic health, spiritual wisdom, mindfulness, and natural therapies.

My Experience

I have supported people in improving their health and well-being for over 30 years now.  As a Registered Nurse, I have worked in acute hospital wards and high dependency care, before going on to provide clinics in chronic disease management and health promotion.  As my interest in holistic approaches to well-being has developed, I have studied health therapies, spirituality and philosophy at honours and master’s degree levels. My areas of interest include metaphysics, the mind-body connection, consciousness, emotions, stress, trauma, spirituality and health.

The Mind-Body Connection and Health

As a result of my own personal experience of recovery from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, I now specialise in supporting people with chronic illness and stress-related conditions. Whilst I was ill, I began to understand the limitations of mainstream healthcare in relation to chronic disease, especially the link between emotional stress and illness.  Chronic symptoms are usually linked to complex issues which either cause or exacerbate the problem. So, I believe that it is important to look at how psychological, emotional, physical, spiritual and social experiences are affecting you, if you want to make long term changes to your health. There are many areas of well-being which are often overlooked in chronic illness management, which all impact daily levels of stress.  Here are a just a few; anxiety, pain, fatigue, depression and digestive problems, in addition to dealing with related issues like relationship dynamics, financial concerns and life purpose.

High Intuitive Sensitivity

Because I am a highly intuitive person myself, and also because I have studied philosophy and spirituality, this is an area which I find I can support people in most. It is well-established that people who have high levels of empathy, sensitivity or intuition also have a higher incidence of developing chronic fatigue conditions and related illnesses, including autoimmune disease.  So, helping HSP’s and empaths to thrive, to live a healthy, happy life, and to understand the spiritual significance of their trait is also an area in which I specialise.

Personal Transformation

It is very easy when we are experiencing difficult or challenging life circumstances, to get bogged down stress and illness. It can be difficult to move beyond this, but it is possible to do so, and can even reap rewards of personal growth. I am particularly interested in the relationship between overcoming stress, illness and adversity and how this can facilitate personal or spiritual transformation. So, I usually work with people who actively want to improve their experience and who feel ready to make positive changes in their life. Because I also have an interest in Eastern philosophy, mindfulness, natural therapies and spirituality, I often work with empaths, healers, therapists and soul-centred people.

 

Coaching Sessions

If you are unsure whether coaching is right for you, I offer a ‘clarity call’ which is an introductory 20-minute session for just £10,  where you can discuss your situation and decide what options would be most suited to you.

I also provide either individual coaching sessions, or programmes of 6 or 12 sessions (every 2 or 4 weeks), for all aspects of well-being including:


  • Personal development: self-awareness, confidence, assertiveness

  • Chronic illness: fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, autoimmune conditions

  • Symptom control: fatigue, pain, stress, digestive issues, insomnia

  • Emotional health: anxiety, depression, stress release, coping skills

  • Spiritual awakening: understanding self, mind, consciousness, ethics

  • Relationships: healthy boundaries, family dynamics, self-care, support

  • HSP’s & intuitives: wellness for empaths, spiritual sensitivity, boundaries

  • Life skills: career, finances, social, decision making, purpose, authenticity


There is a minimum requirement of 6 coaching sessions for people who have long term issues including: chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, high sensitivity, or autoimmune conditions.

Please note that any of the sessions can be replaced by a subject of your choice according to your preference and needs. Each consultation usually lasts for about one hour, and can be accessed online, by telephone, or in person for people living in Cornwall.  Improving your well-being is an ongoing process, so you will also be expected to complete any recommended reading, learning and exercises outside of the consultation times for best results.
