    Hi

Has anyone read this book? It has great reviews on amazon.co.uk and it seems to combine Kinesiology with consciousness. I'm considering buying it, but I already have loads of books that i haven't read yet!

I haven't read it yet, but have just ordered it. A friend of mine was talking with me about it and it sounds absolutely brilliant.

From the snippets I browsed through, I'd recommend it.

    Hugs
    Steve

I find this book inspiring, but it doesnt really focus on kiniesiology.
that is a tool he uses for calibration
it left me wishing I could use kiniesiology.
Will just have to keep using my finely honed intuition

    Hi everyone!

I did buy it and read it .. really enjoyed it! The Kinesiology part is very basic, just a simple muscle test for calibrations.

The most interesting parts were more to do with certain words calibrating at higher frequencies than others .. very similar to Dr Emotos work, where the higher frequency word creates a more beautiful crystal.

    I've been listening to his [link=http://www.beyondtheordinary.net/drhawkins.shtml#AUDTAB]radio show[/link].

    ===================
Some of the things he said:
Apparently, there's not been a female calibrated over 700 so far [sm=mecry.gif] due to our physical structure, weaker nervous system cannot take too much of higher frequencies.

In the Power vs Forces book (first published in 1995), he said there were 12 people who were calibrated at 700 but that was when it was printed. By 2003, there were just 6 people. Three at 600-700, one at 700-800, one at 800-900, one at 900+.

LOC of human at the time of Buddha's birth was 90, at the time of Christ's birth was 100. We are at 207 currently.

Dog's tail wagging and cat's purring is calibrated at 540, expression of love and contentment.

Celestial realm where angels exist is calibrated at 540. The Elephant Man was also calibrated 540, a loving man.

He mentioned that Mother Meera was calibrated at 300, and didn't even wanted to mention Sai Baba.

    Vegetarianism is at about 250.
    =====================

I'm wondering who are these 6 people (all male) calibrated over 700. I'm sure mother Teresa was somewhere like 600 or 700 but she is on the other side. I'd thought that Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela are amongst these people. I am curious as Dr. Hawkins doesn't say.

    Hi Starlight

I also would love to know who these super high frequency people are!

I keep wondering if these people may not be famous people .. maybe gurus living on top of mountains or something like that.

I read this book several years ago and have used the ideas regularly in my own development and my work as Kinesiologist. David Hawkins puts forward a way of testing the level of consciousness of ourselves and others that can help us to understand why people do what they do or think as they do. It can help us not to be judgemental. I didn't agree with one of the main premises of the book as he suggests that our concsiousness level is relatively fixed in this lifetime. This didn't ring true for me and in fact I have found many times that we can make small or great leaps due to our life experiences and/or our intention to evolve spiritually. We can only test what we know which means we need to treat any figures we arrive at as an indication only, not as concrete facts.

    Welcome to HP cariadfrance.

Perhaps, there are exceptions, I agree.
    Sometimes book doesn't explain everything!
Also, I heard if you or somebody else test me kinesiologically, the result could be different. Not in a correct/incorrectsense but just a different layers of onion!?

I just finished reading Power vs Force and am thrilled to find this forum!

First thing, I do not believe that women's bodies limit our spiritual growth potential - that makes no sense to me. What makes more sense to me is that women throughout the ages have had less opportunity for mentorship and striving for enlightenment.

So he says to increase your awareness, you need to spend time with those who calibrate higher than you do. At higher calibrations, it sounds pretty hard to find others with greater awareness. So how do those continue to grow?

I was also fascinated at the idea that a high is experiencing a level of consciousness higher than what one is accustomed to, and the "artificial" highs are really just masking the lower energy interference that prevents one from being aware of the other states.

    peace~

Yea, I would also like to know. I think Mahavatar Babaji is one, but completely beyond the 900.
Sri Aurobindo mayb be an existing one. But I will tell you, that your numbers are raising, you could even be a 500 +.

[font="verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif"][/size]"Mahavatar Babaji, a Himalayan mahayogi said to be about 1,800 years old, is the founder of [link=http://www.lifepositive.com/spirit/traditional-paths/kriya-yoga/kriya-yoga.html]kriya yoga[/link]. The world first heard about him courtesy [link=http://www.lifepositive.com/spirit/masters/paramahansa-yogananda/paramahansa-yogananda.html]Paramahansa Yogananda[/link]'s [link=http://www.lifepositive.com/spirit/masters/paramahansa-yogananda/yogananda.asp]Autobiography of a Yogi[/link]. Today, many cults are growing around his enigmatic persona. Mumbai-based Dr Ram Bhosle claims to have lived with him for six years."[/size][/size][/align]
"Legend has it that the remote parts of the Himalayas are home to many rishis, tapasvis and siddhayogis—Eternal Masters engaged in singular methods of sadhana or disciplined practice dedicated to cosmic exploration and in guiding the destiny of humanity through the ages. They live in rough-hewn natural caves under glacial conditions. Some have ashrams amidst verdant greenery, located at a vibrational frequency at variance with the 'normal' three-dimensional one to keep intruders at bay. Their abode has been verily named [link=http://www.lifepositive.com/spirit/spirit-worlds/shambala/shambala.html]Shambala[/link], Gyan Ganj, or Siddha Loka."

I realize this is an old thread, but there'a an awesome Kickstarter Project that's based on the book Power vs Force. It's an art project that lets you experience some of what the book discusses through visual paintings. Pretty cool! Check it out on Kickstarter by searching for Change With Integrity.
