    Hi,
Any views on treating a phantom pregnancy, from a TCM perspective?
I had thought SP6-8, the through-going and conception vessels and maybe the yin linking vessel.
    Any comment sor other suggestions?

It's a canine phantom and she always has one after her season. This one's gone on longer than usual, hence the request for advice.

I don't know about treating it with shiatsu, but gem essences help to get rid of phantom pregnancies. Info on my website below.

My dads dog had a phantom pregnancy when I was small.

He took her to the vets who confirmed it was a phantom and boy did the vet feel daft the next day when my dad phoned and told him about the 10 pups.

I hope your dog gets over it, she must feel really broody.

    Hi everyone,
Thanks for the replies (even rather curt questions can be useful, LR :) - & Rosi, your web site looks really good) - for future reference, the shiatsu worked like a charm; she got slightly worse for a day and then gradually picked up over the next 2-3 days until she was eating completely normally (she'd gone SO fussy!); the milk dried up with no complications and she was back to her lovely old self again. Welcome back Tizzie!
    Love & stuff,
    Chris
