I have very back hard skin on my feet, i try to use a foot file most days but it does not help
at night i cover my feed with hard skin cream and cover with thick socks.
i hate going out in sandles but hot weather now it can be hard to go out in shoes.
    Any help

The best time to try to remove this hard skin is after having a bath when the skin is softer. Have you tried doing this and using a pumice stone (better than a foot file)? This is the same time that cream is more readily absorbed i.e. after removing the hard skin. There are some products for removing hard skin on feet too I think.

Also soft padding in shoes/sandals might help, i.e. insoles.

I used to use a pumice stone but it made no difference, so i use a foot file before and after a shower. I got the scholl pedi thing (cant remember what it is called) but it is not that good
thanks for the advice .. much appreciated

You don't mention whether or not you have tried this after a bath...that would be a better soak for the feet i.e. a more successful treatment.

What about seeing a podiatrist? It may be a skin disorder.

I used to have hard skin on my heel too. I have changed my shower gel to an all natural (toxins free) ph neutral one and I'm taking bio-available mineral supplements (containing cordyceps, humic and fulvic acid which have anti-viral and anti-fungal properties), and I noticed a huge improvement on my feet and my skin in general, has improved too. The body needs essential minerals and trace-minerals to build new cells (including skin cells).
