As a lover of Classical Music, it is so wonderful to hear a live performance - this treat was in a supermarket and it is wonderful to see the delight and astonishment on people's faces at the unexpected pleasure!

I wish . It would change my whole attitude to supermarket shopping!!! :D

Definitely tingles, tears and everything else too :D:D

I always said music was food for the soul. I belonged to a large choir for nearly 30 years and it was just wonderful.

Oh yes! I ran across this one on YouTube a few weeks ago just after it came out. Yes, I wish I could have been there too, but why didn't they include the lovely lilting middle part "And all the people re-joi-oi-oi-oiced"?? I have a CD recording of the whole piece, and it only goes for about 5:20 - hardly an unmanageable length for a supermarket flash mob! It's not as if they were trying to do, say, the whole of Handel's Messiah... (That said, the Hallelujah Chorus on its own is another popular one for musical flash mobs - plenty of examples on YouTube.)

Glad to see other lovers of classical music here on HP, anyway! ;) And yes, the expressions of delight on those shoppers' faces - just priceless.
