Today I saw a council staff member steaming off blobs of chewing gum from the high street (massive job!). I told him about how I have seen such chewing gum blobs being made into art... (turning a negative into a positive!) https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=c...5NzOAhVGChoKHZzFCBIQ_AUICCgB&biw=1280&bih=564
No one can ever limit the creativity of people, even applying their ideas on everyday objects such as this.
Well some of them show the size, i.e. the 2nd one is placed alongside a cigarette butt (as are some others further along)! Obviously chewing gum blobs are not that big though are they? I love that it turns a negative into a positive creative outlet! I'm all for turning things around like that hence I have an interest in upcycling.
Disposing of chewing gum on the pavement IS a negative, yes! I have seen the machine that councils use to dislodge them - very time consuming!
Thank you for making me aware! I see the issue with chewing gum. I forget about the pavement. New York is full cleaners..now I have new respect.
