Well it's been more than 10 years since I stopped working as a reflexologist and now I am looking to start up again.

Would anyone know whether I need to retrain? I have my A&P (ITEC) as well as ITEC for reflexology and aromatherapy.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you - it's good to be back here.

I'm not a reflexologist, nor specialise in the 'qualifications' side of things, but as with a lot of complementary therapies, it depends on how that particular field is regulated (or not as the case may be).

If the regulatory body for your field requires 'current' or 'refresher' qualifications (otherwise qualifications lapse after a time), then it may be a case you need to retrain.

A&P has probably changed a little since you did it, so it may be worth re doing the A&P course. I think it would be best if you contact ITEC and ask them if your qualifications still stand.

Certainly for your own peace of mind you may want to undertake a refresher.
