What is the difference between lectins and leptins. I am wondering if I have a problem with these because I suffer from a lot of issues related to lectins i.e. puffy bloated face after eating grains/dairy, bloating, tiredness after eating oats/porridge, oatcakes. Would I benefit from taking a lectin supplement - all this time I thought perhaps probiotics would help but on reading lectin information I am identifying with so many of the issues highlighted. Are there any side effects from taking a lectin supplement?
